Welcome to C.F. Taylor Alternative Programs
C. F. Taylor Alternative Program is located in Loxley, Alabama, and is a part of Baldwin County Public Schools. The school serves elementary (grades 5-6) and secondary (grades 7-12) Baldwin County Public School students. There are four program areas at C. F. Taylor: 5th-6th Pathways/Alternative, Crossroads, Alternative, and Impact.

What to Expect at C.F. Taylor

C.F. Taylor School serves  elementary grades (5-6) and secondary grades 7-12. There are four program areas at C. F. Taylor: 5-6 Alternative/Crossroads, Crossroads, Alternative, and IMPACT.  

Working Towards Graduation

The IMPACT Program gives students the opportunity to recover credits and graduate with their cohort

Student Counseling

The school guidance curriculum includes classroom and large group activities from kindergarten through twelfth grade, with an emphasis on decision-making; self-understanding; study skills; and career exploration, preparation, and planning. 

Attendance

Regular attendance is the key to student success. Most, if not all, of the progress toward credit for graduation will take place when the student is in attendance for class sessions.

Curriculum

Instruction includes a variety of techniques including individualized instruction, group sessions for lecture and demonstration, and guided and independent practice.
